The Apprentice fans call out Lord Sugar for 'leaking' the winner just days before BBC finale after 'obvious' clue

Fans of The Apprentice have called out Lord Alan Sugar for 'leaking' the winner before the finale after they spotted an 'obvious' clue.

With the final of the long-standing BBC show just days away, some viewers are keen to know who will secure the investment and partnership with Lord Sugar.

Thursday will see air conditioning company owner Dean, 34, and pizza fusion businesswoman Anisa Khan, 26, battle it out.

However, a few eager fans think they have figured out who is going to win after looking at Lord Sugar's social media.

They have noticed that the tycoon has followed just one of the two final candidates on Instagram.

Lord Sugar has followed Dean, which some think means he could be the winner.

Someone wrote on Reddit: 'Lord Sugar follows Dean on Instagram but doesn't follow Anisa.'

'... The Instagram thing is weird but I highly doubt Lord Sugar manages the account himself - it looks highly curated by a team to me and therefore is a massive slip up having the account follow Dean.'

'The instagram thing is very interesting to be honest. Bit weird that he's only following one of them.'

But someone else disagreed and said: '...I also think people are looking too much in to the Instagram following thing.'

However, fans will have to wait until Thursday to find out for sure as the winner won't be confirmed until then.

It comes after finalist Dean was left horrified when he was confronted with shocking pictures of a sex toy prank he staged during one of his grilling interviews on last week's show.

The interview stage is the most brutal part of the BBC show and it's not surprising that Dean comes out of his interview with business guru Mike Soutar very red-faced.

Trying to sell his business plan to him, he tells Mike that everyone will be in need of his help as we all need air conditioning 'now more than ever'.

Just moments later, Mike shows a picture of a sex toy stuck to an AC unit - and reveals it was one that Dean had posted to his company's social media account.

Dean tells Mike that they were working in a sex shop and they thought it would be 'quite funny' to have a laugh with their products.

However, Mike isn't impressed.

He brutally tells him: 'This doesn't say to me this is a trusted organisation that's going to come into my home and treat it like their own.'

Dean still managed to survive another week alongside Anisa and Amber-Rose Badrudin, Chisola Chitambala and Jordan Dargan were fired.

The Apprentice airs Thursdays on BBC One at 9pm and is available to stream on iPlayer.
