Woman sparks fierce debate after revealing she dyes Easter eggs in her TOILET

Easter is the perfect time to craft - but one woman has horrified even the most avid of creatives with her method for decorating eggs.

Content creator Kate Heintzelman shared a controversial clip to her Instagram last week, which showed her turning white eggs into festive multicolored eggs - using the toilet.

Kate started by placing a sponge at the bottom of the toilet bowl before she filled the toilet with a slew of eggs.

She then squeezed various-colored food dyes onto the eggs before sprinkling some baking soda on them.

The content creator then covered the pile of eggs with distilled white vinegar, which reacted with the baking soda and caused it to bubble up and cover all the eggs.

After waiting for the eggs to dry, Kate picked the now-colored eggs up (wearing gloves!) and put them back into the egg carton.

The eggs were splattered with pink and purple and blue, with the colors seamlessly blending.

She declared that her method was the 'best way to dye your Easter eggs' in the caption.

And while Kate appeared to be thrilled by her colored eggs, her followers were not as convinced about the idea of using a toilet as a crafting area.

'I do not want to receive an egg from the toilet as a gift,' declared one follower.

'The dumbest video I've ever seen,' another agreed.

Someone else joked, 'Showed this to my therapist and now he’s in therapy'

'Is it necessary to do it in the toilet?' complained another.

It's not the first time Kate has cooked a meal in an questionable place - and not even the first time that she's cooked something in the toilet.

In 2024, the content creator went viral after she prepared a Thanksgiving turkey in the toilet bowl - much to the disgust of her followers.

While most of them pointed out that it was more than likely a joke, Kate was slammed for wasting food.

Many users theorized her account was 'rage bait' - with other videos including her cooking steaks in a toaster and smashing cake with her hands to mix with ice-cream.

In 2023, a plane passenger sparked outrage after revealing that he cooked shrimp and mashed potato in the sink of an airplane bathroom - after taking two six-volt batteries onto the craft in order to power his bizarre experiment.

The US-based content creator, who goes by the username Barfly, took TikTok by storm with shocking clips of his makeshift meal prep, leaving viewers stunned after using two six-volt batteries on board a Delta aircraft to create the meal in the communal restroom.

He then lumped all the ingredients into a sick bag before returning to his seat and eating with his hands - much to the disgust of his followers.
